MEMPHIS, TN. “God is good.” Those are the words from Vicky Icenhower, Dwight’s wife, when it was announced he won the 2016 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest. It summarized all the hard work, all the disappointments, all the money spent and the sacrifices they made for Dwight to receive the highest honor in the ETA industry.
Dwight’s journey began 18 years ago in Ohio where he laid the foundation to build an impressive résumé of championship wins and showcases. Over the years he accepted every win with gratitude and each loss with dignity and honed his tribute to Elvis for fans to enjoy. We celebrate this moment with him and welcome him to an elite class of Elvis Tribute Artists. The award is the final validation for an ETA recognizing their talent as the best of the best and is the culmination of a lifelong journey.
Dwight is the 10th ETA to be crowned the Ultimate ETA and he received a $20,000 cash prize from Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., “Elvis Presley – The Album Collection” 60-CD Box Set, and an opportunity to contract with Legends in Concert.

Congratulations, Dwight! I remember coming into Pizza Hut in Pomeroy, Ohio years ago when you worked there! I’m very proud of you for your accomplishments! I wish I could have stopped by the Pomeroy parking to see you earlier this year! Maybe I will get to see you perform one of these days! Your hometown people LOVE YOU!!!
