MEMPHIS, TN. The Top 10 have been announced to compete in the finals of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. Each competitor is an outstanding performer in their own right, but there can only be one Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist champion.

Pat is no stranger to the stage. Performing in his first NYC production at the age of 12, he now has the honor of performing in different music productions around the world. He considers being an ETA one of the most difficult facets of performing – and the most rewarding. Pat participated in his first festival in 2013 and said it was a life-changing experience that got him hooked. His favorite Elvis song is “An American Trilogy.”
Ryan Pelton is from Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He was dared to enter a local Elvis contest by his mother, and though he’d never sang publicly before, Ryan won. In the following 15 years, Ryan has performed all over the world and loves being a live music entertainer. Ryan says it’s a blessing to be a part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. His favorite Elvis song is “Pieces of My Life.”
Alex Swindle, of Birmingham, Alabama, has been performing as an Elvis tribute artist for 11 years. As a child, he played both guitar and piano, and performed in the Birmingham Children’s Theater. At the theater he auditioned for an Elvis-type role, and shortly after was invited to compete in his first contest – and has been performing ever since. Alex says the ability to be on the big stage with the best, paying tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, is a dream come true. His favorite Elvis song is “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
David Lee is from Birmingham, Alabama. Almost 20 years ago, a co-worker turned him on to some of Elvis’ more obscure music. He started listening more and more to Elvis’ music and became a big fan. He says it is an honor to be part of such a prestigious event paying tribute to the one and only King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. His favorite Elvis songs are “Promised Land” and “Unchained Melody.”
Johnny Lee Memphis
Johnny Lee Memphis hails from Bonnie Scotland and has been performing as his idol for fun since he was 3 years old and professionally now for four years. He feels blessed to be representing Penticton at this year’s Ultimate ETA Contest in Memphis. His favorite Elvis songs include “It’s Only Love” and “It’s Midnight.”
Ever since Kevin was a teenager, he has had a love for Elvis and his music, and he felt Elvis was the natural choice for him to emulate. The many genres of Elvis’ career provide Kevin with a never ending challenge. Kevin says its an honor to be a part of the Ultimate ETA Contest and to be able to compete in Memphis, where Elvis called home. Kevin’s favorite Elvis song is “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Dwight Icenhower began his career 17 years ago as a junior in high school performing in a high school musical. Since then, Dwight has traveled around the world with his tribute to Elvis Presley. Dwight’s mother introduced him to Elvis’ music at a very young age and has loved him ever since. He says being a tribute artist is a dream come true and to be recognized for my tribute is a real honor. His favorite Elvis song is “Are You Lonesome Tonight?”
Michael Chambliss is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. His roots are firmly planted in Southern Gospel music, having been a long-time member of the Cumberland Quartet and the New Life Gospel Quartet. He has also performed with the Gaither Family. He has appeared at the Pierce Arrow Theater in Branson and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. He is the 2014 Images of the King World Champion. Michael is currently making regular appearances at Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and various venues throughout the South.
Tim is very honored and proud to be representing the 2015 Georgia Elvis Festival as its Grand Champion. Tim grew up watching Elvis movies and concerts. He became a huge Elvis fan at a young age because of the influence of his late father, Diamond Jim. He considers it an absolute honor and privilege to pay tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time, Elvis Presley. Tim has many favorite Elvis songs but his all-time favorite is “How Great Thou Art.”
David has been performing as an Elvis tribute artist for 15 years. He has ranked in the top 10 during the Ultimate ETA Contest since 2011 and during that time has had the chance to perform for Legends in Concert Myrtle Beach. David’s biggest inspiration and love for Elvis stems from his father. David is honored to be a part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest for a 4th time and takes great pride in helping keep Elvis’ memory alive. David’s favorite song is “If I Can Dream.”
