There isn’t much information about James King aside from a few videos and an outdated Facebook page, but fortunately King is local and I’ve seen his tribute at a number of venues. My personal experience will have to do for today’s profile.
Sometimes there just isn’t a connection from stage to fan which has nothing to do with an ETA’s talent. James King is an experienced ETA with a disciplined voice, but one I never paid much attention to until EP Expo 2013. King caught my attention during the Expo and for the first time I listened, really listened to him, and watched. He has a strong voice with lots of Elvis energy on stage and an obvious dedication to portray Elvis respectfully and accurately.
You Be The Judge
King will be a strong contender at the contest. Good luck James.
Update: I found King’s personal Facebook page. King does more than just Elvis. His résumé of tributes includes Tom Jones, Roy Orbison, Ricky Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Englebert Humperdinck, and Ritchie Valens.
