Many ETAs have had the privilege to meet the late Clothier to the King who was only too happy to help them to keep the memory of Elvis alive. Ryan Collingwood and Chris Luna graciously share their memorable tokens from Bernard Lansky.
SAN MARCOS, CA. Ryan Collingwood is a new ETA, only performing since March 2012. He posted the following story about a gift he received from the late Bernard Lansky.
[Six] years ago my wife called the Lansky Brothers store in Memphis to order an Elvis shirt as a surprise for my birthday. Mr. Lansky himself called her back and personally picked out a 50’s Elvis shirt for me to wear while performing. He sent the shirt along with an autographed picture, it was an amazing gift and quite a surprise that I will always cherish. RIP Mr. Lansky.
Thank you Ryan for sharing your cool, rockin’ memory.

ONTARIO, CA. Chris Luna is a veteran ETA and one of the best ones playing tribute to Elvis. He had this to say about Lansky.
[Lansky] was one of the most colorful characters I met. A gentleman with a real personality all to his own. And I mean after all these years, still the man working the shop and behind the counter was something. A real throw back to a bye-gone era of service and style. The real McCoy. They don’t make em like that anymore….he sold me a hat that day and I’ve since been a customer of Lansky’s buying shirts, shoes, jacket, and belt (Elvis gear of course).
Thank you Chris for sharing your cool, rockin’ memory.
