MISSION VIEJO, CA. The venue was great. The view was great. Happy hour was reasonable and the food was good. The music was awesome. Chris Luna and the TCB Flash Band rocked the patrons of Tortilla Flats Restaurant built lakeside in 1949 on the shore of Lake Mission Viejo.
Luna is an up and coming ETA from Ontario, CA I first discovered at the Pala’s Resort Spa & Casino 2012 Ultimate ETA Contest. He didn’t place, but he was definitely one of the better performers and I’ve been a Luantic ever since. His fans are affectionately known as Lunatics.
There are specific qualities I look for in an ETA. They must demonstrate respect for Elvis, possess the talent to sing well, have a great appearance, engage the audience during the show, and be modest or humble. It’s a packaged deal and Luna has them all.
He is well on his way to becoming a great ETA and I hope to see him win the Ultimate ETA contest in Memphis one of these years. I believe he can and will.
